  1. Thank you for taking the time to film this, and posting it. People like you are a fantastic resource for… well for everyone! I check Youtube before I do even mundane chores, as there is often someone, like you, who goes to the trouble to post their videos….. Life is good!

  2. Ecolariat. Thank's for the video. I wasn't sure if I'd have to remove the sensor and disconnect the hose. I will be sure to sure use a slotted screwdriver or nutdriver to remove the hose clamp. ūüėČ

  3. Just hit 15k miles with my F150 and decided to replace the air filter.  After watching this video I was blown away.  Its actually easier and quicker than an oil change lol.  Thanks for the video!

  4. The instructions above worked great on my 2013 F-150 Lariat with the 5.0 V8 engine. Erik is correct in that you just have to loosen the clamp not remove it.  Thanks for sharing!

  5. Only took me 3 minutes. Thanks to you for posting these helpful instructions. No need to completely remove the clamp though; just loosen all the way. Makes for easier reinstallation. Folks, don't forget to re-attach the 3 clips.

  6. Thanks for posting your video! Just changed mine first time (dealership got my dollars before) and very easy and quick thanks to your instruction.

  7. One small shortcut: you don't have to fully remove the hose clamp. You can just loosen it almost to the end of the threads and it will allow you slide the tubes apart without fully removing the hose clamp. ¬†Thanks for the video — it was that stupid red clip on the sensor I couldn't figure out!

  8. Hello great video!  I have a '09 XLT and like to do all the simple maintenance stuff myself as I have a good collection of tools.    Based on the license plate of your other car (shown at the beginning of the video) it appears you are from London.   If so, just want to say thanks to my fellow citizen for posting a very informative how-to video!    Great job!

  9. Is there an air filter in the cabin that needs to be periodically changed? I have a 2012 F-150 Lariat SuperCrew Ecoboost.

Also, I've changed the oil in my truck twice myself in my garage. It doesn't affect the warranty and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

  10. Folks, glad you found the video useful! Let me know if I can improve the video in anyway. I'll have an oil change one coming up this summer, so long as I doesn't impact my warranty

  11. Thanks for the video. I am surprised Ford does not provide a video. Actually I am not surprised. More profit if the owner has to bring it in to the dealer.
